Biography

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering at the University of Arkansas, and hold the 21st Century Research Leadership Chair. In 2015-2022, I served as the Associate Director for Research of the Cybersecurity Center for Secure, Evolvable Energy Delivery Systems (SEEDS). Currently, I am serving as the Site Director of the University of Arkansas site for the NSF I/UCRC Center for Infrastructure Trustworthiness in Energy Systems (CITES). I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013, M.S. degree from Tsinghua University, China, in 2007, and B.E. degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2004. I was a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award in 2018.

Research Interests

My research interests include cybersecurity and privacy in cyber-physical systems (especially the elecric grid), mobile computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing.
