Computer Science Receives ABET Accreditation
The BS in Computer Science has received accreditation from ABET's Computer Accreditation Commission.
This accreditation, retroactive to Oct. 1, 2005, runs through Sept. 30, 2009. "This is a major step for the department.," said Susan Gauch, newly appointed CSCE Dept Head. "Not only does this reflect well on the CS degree program and the department, it also reflects the hard work by faculty, administration, and students involved in the process. Finally, a special thanks to professors Russell Deaton and Craig Thompson for their work in writing the report."
